When two strangers meet and feel like they’ve known each other forever magical things happen.

I needed a break from the urban reality and walk the pathless paths, through the woods and the mountains. I was ready to go to Bieszczady Mountains alone, but then I met K and even though we talked only for two hours it felt natural to go into the wild together. The trip became a beginning of a new friendship and a cleansing experience for my body and soul. Mind opening discoveries, breathtaking views, one amazing sunset, randomly met kind people on the trail, my favorite music and unforgettable adventure. All this in four days. Perfect time, perfect place. You can have it all as long as you want it and you’re ready for it.

Basque Country part 2 / Biarritz

10 September 2017

Sometimes you are meant to visit some places. I came to Biarritz accidentally, at the last hour of sunlight. Dusky, windy and warm air made my cheeks blush and my eyes shine. I felt some kind of magical energy in this quiet, little surf town. I am sure this isn’t my last visit here.

Basque Country part 1 / San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

29 August 2017

I just finished watching the last season of Game of Thrones. I wouldn’t be writing about it here if it wasn’t for this magical place I found on Google street view and decided to visit during my trip to Basque Country past June. It’s quite magical, isn’t it? As I was watching GoT I realised that I’ve been to the fucking Dragonstone! :) Cheers to that!

Transitions – Mokotów / Warsaw

26 July 2017

mokotów 02

In my heart, Mokotów will always be the symbol of a transition. It’s a time of learning to be my true self. Hurtful skin ripping off and healing, heart breaking and mending, meeting new people and loosing some too. Solitary walks around the neighborhood, many cigarettes smoked and songs heard. This one murky evening I buried my heart in Mokotów’s ground. Soon I will leave this place and start over with a clean slate, thankful for the time spent here.

I fell apart, but got back up again.

Peak District / United Kingdom

16 July 2017

2 weeks spent in the city and I already miss the wilderness. I guess I need a constant change of places, from urban to natural surroundings.

Looking for someone to go into the Polish woods or mountains with me in the next couple of weeks. Anyone?

I’ve visited this amazing place on my trip to England (Doncaster/Sheffield) last year. It’s hidden in the middle of the island and you could have missed it on the road if you didn’t know about it. A small mountain area hides all these beautiful views. Feels like a magical place from a fantasy movie or a book.
